Most of my whoopsies happen at KDFW lol
I once put not enough thrust on takeoff and almost stalled while flying with @Mason_Lennox on E175
That’s crazy 😭😭 to be fair I’ve done some pretty goofy things with Mason at DFW too so I can’t blame you ☠️

same here mate, I was touching down at SFO runway 28L when I realised the gear was down, I immediately did a go around and turned for a landing at 19L
These are the list of whoopsies I did when I was new pilot lol For legal reasons I don’t make any of these things during my flights especially with VA flights. :)
- Forgetting Gear
- Putting VNAV when in cruise, and getting speeding warning
- Forgetting to Turn off APU, when about to Take off
- Keeping APU turned on in whole flight
- Forgetting to Turn on APU after landing, and making the whole plane without electricity, at gate, after shutting down all engines
- Forgetting Stobe lights
- Forgetting landing light in when in approach, or cruise after take off, or when taxing to gate after landing
- Using Wrong Runway
- Landing with higher speed
- Tail strike
- Forgetting flaps (both take off and landing)
- Taking off in wrong time, that you got to busy with your things, and unable to reach the device to pause the flight, when it’s time for approach and landing and fuel runs out
- Not taking good amount of full flight fuel
- Wrong flight plan when your plan was the other destination
- Forgetting to call ATC Unicom commands such as, Final, or Taking off
- Forgetting to put appropriate Callsigns regarding the respective VA
- Forgetting to note down fuel consumption (Some VAs requires them)
I have a new whoopsies moment now!
While landing in HPN a few days ago I was accidentally a bit below the glideslope on landing. While touching down, I overcorrected for this error and pretty much floated down the entire runway - not just past the touchdown zone but into the touchdown zone of the opposite runway. I finally got on the ground and began to slow down when I decided this was crazy landing attempt and I really had to just go around. So I did. And I forgot my gear when doing so.

I feel like once you’ve gone around you have the right to release all your inhibitions and get on the ground asap
Plus, -5000 fpm isn’t even that bad

the bus drivers in my school that keep abruptly stopping have sent me nosediving multiple times
150 knots in a 180 exact = bad idea
Got a level 3 i WISH it could have been level 2
That’s actually crazy, I’ve never gotten more than a Level 1 vio but I imagine it’s not fun
