I think it’s fun to see creative and whimsical waypoint names.

There’s a waypoint on the approach into Orlando called DISNY. :)

It’s pretty much the same goal as any other non-support or feature related post: for camaraderie, learning things about other people who enjoy the same things. Not to be rude, but members have the option of not commenting.
I think the contrast of light-hearted creativity in such a black and white numbers profession is worth an IFC thread…

Once again, this is not a useless thread. As long as we have a civilized discussion we can keep threads like these open, we can learn new things with topics like these maybe new waypoints that you have never heard of or waypoints that have a very odd name. We’re a community and as a community we’re entitled to share things, that is what we are right? A community?
PS… My favoruite waypoint is GRITT, its the waypoint on the localiser of rwy 9 at KMIA!

Walt Disney World, not Disneyland. Disneyland is in Anaheim, California. That’s why I like the waypoint. It honors the park. Hundreds of flights come in every day with kids waiting to go to Disney World. That’s why I like it. :)
