I unfortunately concentrate on my landings (though some may contradict that), I don’t look at my VS.
I normally (try) to confentrate in my landings, and look at my VS, so I know if I’m going at a good angle/speed.
Normal airliner landing will be 100-130VS, not uncommon to get 150-200, and in crosswinds I keep it at about 300. GA planes I have HUD disabled and don’t look
You should, I mean, if you land at 1100VS you will kill someone, my normal landings are between 300 to 500, some of them can be at the incredible low VS of 100 to 200, thats why I always maintain the plane low with respect to the glidscope so when I make the plane decent slowly I will not over run the runway…

I agree with Dush. I don’t have time to look at all that and converse. I judge my landings not the VS.
My worst landing was upside down so it wasn’t very smooth :/
Worst landing was today in Hawaii – -812 fpm. Ouch.
I’m practice tons of landings. Before any full flight I go on solo and practice my landings in those planes. I’m totally picky for smooth landings. When I come in, I go slightly fast so when I idle power at 10-29 feet, I have breathing room to Butter the bread. My average landing is 50-150 VS but my best ever is 9.
I usually hit the ground a little harder because I am more concerned about stopping in time safely than that perfect touchdown.

But for my first few months with the app I did extremely steep landings, atleast -700VS. Incredibly though, I was still able to land.
My average must be about -150–250, but sometimes, in rare cases, I get over -1000… I know, pretty ugly. Doesn’t happen often. I think a bad landing is above -300.
Well. If a bad landing is above -300, I probably should be banned from flying planes. 😂
The worst landing I remember was actually just this morning. I had a VS of -700-850. Yea. And I also stalled at the last second.

Best landing I have done was around -40-20 ft/m
I always butter the bread, im so good that my best landing was -1 VS. It was so soft that we thought we where still in the air.
