What's the fastest you've ever gone in Infinite Flight?

How the heck… :eyes:

I got to around FL330, sped up to 1000 knots then nosedived with 100% trim and that did the job

I know an easier way to do this were the results are way more interesting… but that’s my secret to keep

2142 knots in a F-22

Back when they had that X-Cub glitch I managed mach 25 or something

I managed to climb an F-22 through a series of dives and climbs to 103,000 feet and then dove straight down. I was able to reach Mach 27 before I hit the ground but I was so fast it didn’t detect the crash so I just continued diving down all the way through earth and reached speeds of Mach 371 before I broke through the other side of earth and it finally detected that I had crashed

While I no longer have the view of my speed from the cockpit, I’m sure you can gather I was pretty fast to get here.

WAIT strike what I said earlier. It’s actually this: Mach 5832452608 in a f 22 via space glitch, I have a pic but I’m on cellular bc my WiFi is out

That’s what I’m saying! Winds from Japan are insane! I made a 9 hour flight in only 7 hours from just the wind itself pushing me.

I’m a professional flyer (mainly airliners, yes I’m boring :joy:), so the fastest I’ve gone is roughly .87, though I don’t keep track of tailwinds much. Best tailwind I’ve gotten at cruise should be around 130 kts (I think). Though IRL, on a flight from VHHH to CYYZ, the great pilots brought a 15-16 hr flight to only 14 hrs - thanks tailwind + great planning!

When I took off and at around 20,000 ft, it sat at 20 knots tailwind just before the wind picked up to 148, it said my flight would take 9 hours but with the tailwind that got pushed down to 7 hours
