For me, any tailwind over 140 is what I call “Stupid Fast” or “Mach Jesus” For how fast the wind is pushing me.
Here I am Casually pushing 1266 Kilometres an hour (for Americans that’s roughly 787.2 MPH)

Dang, that’s fast! My fastest was probably Mach 0.86-.87.
Quick Note: I only pushed it to the max to see how fast I can really go, I then slowed it back down to Mach .88 (my normal cruise speed)
I can’t remember the exact details but I remember getting in a A380 and flying Adelaide to New York in 14 hours (instead of 19 hours) thanks to 200+ knot tailwinds over Australia and AP+ not changing speed.
It can get over 200 knots of tailwind??
Several million times faster than the speed of light.
The wind is strong with you…

Never had such strong winds myself. The fastest ever in IF? Almost Mach 3 in that F22 at sealevel
Going east from Japan seems to have a very comatose 130+ eastbound winds.
This was taken as I was departing Japan a few minutes ago
What did you do?? And how did you get 1,133,890,816 BILLION knots in airspeed??
And why are you underground??
I miss this bug. ![]()
It was a bug?
When global first came out there was a terrain bug where you could nose dive into the ground in a F-22 and go through the ground eventually being spit back out at crazy speeds, it’s how users got into space.
Does it still work today?
Got patched a long time ago unfortunately which is why I said I miss the bug. Was fun while it lasted.
Like mach 8 on a f22
Dove from 80000ft
what’s the ceiling height for IF? I’ve never actually tested it.
This was only a few weeks ago ![]()
Just messed around on the casual server lol
