What would happen if you post non-av related things? Is there like a separate section for talking about favorite foods, etc?

There is, it’s the #lounge. However, you need to be TL3 in order to access it.

Most likely the topic will get closed and sometimes unlisted and/or people will flag it.
This is an Infinite Flight Community for Infinite Flight related stuff. We do have a #real-world-aviation category which is a little exception. And if you reach TL3, you get access to #lounge. All topics that don’t follow the category guidelines will be closed though (with some very rare exceptions by us mods maybe). 😊
