I was driving past Heathrow when I saw a 787 2 mins after takeoff still had it gear down and was at a really low altitude

Saw the exact same thing at LSGG yesterday. Took a long while until they put the gear down… maybe there’s a certain procedure in some conditions? If anyone knows…
It’s something to do with the brakes on the 787 there need to be a certain temperature before they retract them if they have had a long taxi to the runway the brakes get hot and need to cool before the gears retracted
