I sneezed and hit a mountainside on departure. I sneezed and then lost control and wasn’t able to recover. Fun times explaining that one

When you think you’re coming it just a bit low, and then your rear wheels are just short of the threshold, and the taxi violation pops up.

I flew a C-130 Hercules Hurricane Hunter during Hurricane Harvey from KBIX. Intercepted the eye of the storm right off the coast of Houston with a couple of avid storm chasers such as myself. What an experience! If only I could be in the cockpit with that NOAA crew!
