When I make a flight plan, I don’t select the waypoints leading up to the runway I want to land at. I usually will decide what runway best fits me about 30 minutes from arrival with the help of the METAR and FR24. If there is ATC (Approach or Tower), you should always listen to them. If it is on Expert server, IFATC knows what they are doing. If it is on Training Server, I wouldn’t count on it. You would request Visual/ILS/GPS Approach when you reach the controllers airspace. Just note the controller might not let you do a visual approach. Hope this helps you out!
Thx I am just confused
Yeah to add onto what Plane said you can always change your fpl before landing but to make the initial FPL you can use a site to make a fpl but if the winds changes you can change the FPL before you land
I use
Simbrief.com
Fpltoif.com made by Chris_S
Also:
You want to request the visual when you got like 8 or 10 sm of visibility… that way you can see clearly and make sure your lines up on the runway… but if they dont give it to you then take the ILS or GPS approach or whatever one they say
Hope that helps even more
Trevor
Thanks all of you guys
