But I’d still rather be a cargo pilot than anything non-Aviation related

What would be worse?

Flying for easyJet, waking up at silly o’clock and flying 27 legs around Europe

or

Flying a Cargo 747 across the world, but mainly flying at night and only returning home once a month (if that)
