Some people make life as an ATC impossible and in this instance I can no nothing but to quit my ATC session since ghosting or even reporting user was not an option. I am trying to practise as much as I can to get tested for advance server ATC.
user in air newzealand entered the airspace in a ridiculous way
requested and cleared for landing on rwy 24L but ended up on rwy 25R which was never approved (another plane on final)
refused to get off runway after landing
incoming aircraft not doing go around when asked (I guess it wasn’t their fault)
Hmm this is a common thing. Although I haven’t experienced it (yet), I know quite a few people who have 😒. It’s a shame, it kind of ruins the purpose of having an ATC. I also want to get tested for Advanced Server ATC.
Very annoying I’ve created several topics on this very issue. However you can report the user as ATC it just takes two other people to report them before they are ghosted.
Agreed max but only if they implement an xp required for ATC on the playground or the trolls that don’t know what they are doing will just send everyone back to parking.
This also bothers me. It is a lose lose situation. Some sessions all pilots behave and things run very smooth but others are complete freeforalls. One thing I will do is completely ignore a nimrods request or respond with thank you good day or your welcome. You can’t let one idiot ruin your session.
There is big fight going on between air Zealand-Asians-middle East flights in klax,ksan,knuc about who owns the turf. 😀. I’m not saying everyone from there but the majority are.😁 maybe the don’t understand ATC and get on with the job ex. take-off without clearance, do 360 and take-off opposite direction, do sharp base turn without considering other aircraft on final. Hey! Hey! Hey! 😀😀its playground server didn’t you know? will be answer from some seniors. I’m old enough to not bother. But I feel sorry for some people who wants to learn in serious way.
