@AndrewWu has humiliated me publicly twice in the last few days because other pople found livery errors I didn’t. So, how about this? An entire discussion regarding a tiny little logo next to the cockpit windows of Star Alliance members!
Note: I’ll refrain from referring to other errors on said liveries, focusing exclusively on the Star Alliance logo.
Here’s a photo of Infinite Flight’s Lufthansa A380:
Here is the same aircraft in real life:

Same for the Singapore Airlines A350:

And here is Air China’s 777-300ER:

Notice anything?
Now, here is the same comparison for the United 777-200ER…

…the ANA 777-300ER…

See the issue now?
If you did, good job. If not, the simple breakdown is: airlines use only one type of Star Alliance logo on their aircraft (quite obvious, no?). But Infinite Flight doesn’t. A few select aircraft feature the correct, “pointier” logo, such as the United 772, 757 and ANA 77W, however the vast majority uses a strange “rounder” logo, which I believe was never applied to an aircraft - feel free to correct me with photo evidence of otherwise.
Upon a quick search, I found a Logopedia page about Star Alliance. Surprise surprise, both versions are there in SVG format. The website claims the “rounder” logo is an older version.
The incorrect “rounder” logo. SVG link.
The correct “pointier” logo. SVG link.
Given Infinite Flight has the correct logo on some aircraft (meaning the file for it is readily available), I simply cannot understand why the inconsistency, which persists to this day, and unfortunately has the vast majority of aircraft with the wrong logo. For example, here’s the United 737 MAX, added in 24.4, with the correct logo, and the Copa 737 MAX, added in 25.1, featuring the wrong logo.
Finally, to add insult to injury, some aircraft (namely the Thai Star Alliance A350 and the Austrian Star Alliance A320) feature both versions of the logo - the correct one on the tail, and the wrong one at the nose.
