What should I do?

lol
right down wind xD

elephant 780 enter right down wind, decend and maintain 500

Sidestep. Flying straight over the runway is dangerous because of departures.

But if you are doing the Go Around you are the only aircraft doing the departures.

You can also say like enter right downwind I think

The official infinite flight YouTube channel offers some good tutorials of things that are often done wrong in live.

For instance a video of go-arounds and metars etc.

That sounds kinda low… idk

When you are doing a pattern you do NOT go to the end of the ILS/GPS cone.you fly about 45+(wind speed in knots) seconds downwind until you turn baes at at around 180ish knots for a jet at 1,500ft AGL

talking about downwind time, after a C130 (IRL) turns crosswind, it takes them about 4 minutes to complete their approach. Fighters of course are much fast.

he is right though, that is the altitude.

You will find most pattern altitudes are 1000-2000 ft AGL.

Best thing to do is fly it as if it’s a real pattern. You turn crosswind at a certain altitude. It doesn’t matter where that altitude is over the airport. If the winds are strong enough and you’re flying backwards on takeoff, once you reach your designated altitude to turn crosswind, you turn crosswind. If you don’t need any space on your downwind leg and you’re ready to turn base, you turn base.

As long as you’re not sequenced, you’re good to turn whenever you want. Even if you are sequenced, you can do whatever you want as long as you maintain spacing with the aircraft in front of you. The FAR says you have to use the airport’s current traffic pattern for landing, but that doesn’t mean you can’t use a shortened version of it. You can turn crosswind and be at the start of the runway or you can turn crosswind and be at the end of the runway. You can have a long downwind at like 10 miles or you can have a short downwind at under 1 mile. Your base turn might actually be a turn from downwind straight onto final or it might be a couple of turns to get you lined up to land. You can be on final without being cleared to land, just don’t land without clearance. If the controller wants you to follow a specific traffic pattern or to extend your upwind for example, they’ll tell you what they want you to do or tell you to extend your upwind.
