On ATC playground I was cleared for the ILS and told to maintain 14,000 feet until established on the localizer… And I Was also told to contact KLAX ground 3 times while on final. Should I just ignore instruction? No penalties correct?
It’s playground so some people don’t know what they’re doing. First off, you can’t contact ground while in the air so ignore that, and you can’t be on the ILS or on final at that altitude so I would ignore both instructions in this case. They just aren’t practical and legit instructions.
Ignore it. People there use playground to learn. The user possibly just pushed some buttons 😉
On advanced it would be a challenging descent 😉
and a demoted controller probably. That’s not proper procedure. :)
Yea just ignore them
Funny instruction :)
