My personal favorites are

KDCA River Visual
The amazing views of Washington DC

SFO parallel 28 approach (SOIA/PRM)
Landing next to another plane less than 750 feet? Count me in

Memphis 18C
Just a few hundred feet over an entire cargo terminal? Personally that’s amazing

mine are FACT - Cape Town
PANC from the south - Anchorage
and CYVR - Vancouver.

  • OOMS RWY 08L/R approach from the West and East
  • KJFK Canarsie Approach (13L/R)
  • VQPR (Currently the most challenging approach on Earth)

  • Petropavlovsk - Kamchatsky (UHPP)
  • Bucaramanga (SKBG) (absolutely gorgeous located on a mountain above the city)
  • San Sebastian (LESO)
  • Quito Mariscal Sucre (SEQM)
  • Lijiang Sanyi (ZPLJ)

  1. The River Visual at KDCA
  2. The visual approach for runway 19 at KDCA
  3. And that approach at KDCA where you follow the river

I probably landed at the most underrated airport today: Bujumbura (HBBA, former capital of Burundi) is located between gorgeous mountain ranges and located next to a crystal clear lake.

I wonder why no one flies to FSIA. That’s actually my favourite approach.
