I love how the Max handles but sometimes it takes “Infinite Flight” a bit too literally. Thankfully only on long runways so far lol.
A330-300 or E175
The A320 family for me.
The best plane to hand fly I must say.
Just so you know, you can set the nav source to NAV1 to see the ILS without using APPR. That way you get to hand fly without having to guesstimate your vertical alignment like on a visual approach. You can also use APPR for the early part of the approach and then disconnect for the landing. I recommend disconnecting at 1000 ft above the airport just to get used to the plane a bit before landing.
Manual landings are one of the funnest parts of IF—I would definitely give it a try. You’ll have awful landings at first but pretty soon you’ll be as good or better than APPR, which barely even flares.
the spitfire! its a cake walk in the park!
tbm930 would do it for me. I bounce it sometimes but I’m getting better
It is also important to note that executing a visual approach does not mean you must hand-fly the aircraft, and executing an instrument approach does not mean you have to fly the plane using an autopilot.
Yeah that was ages ago when I said that. I now do visual approaches whenever I can
Dead serious when I say all of them.
I like those aircraft that are too hard to land manually. So, Boeing 717, MD-11 and even B747 can be too hard to land, but if i have to answer that question in base of comfort, maybe A330/339, Boeing 737s, B777s and A380.
I really hate land an Embraer 190 because it is like a soap, it slips too much it is necessary beginning the APP earlier to avoid descents at high angles and the speed increasing too much, I have never changed the configuration of the buttons but I don’t know if the spoilers can be modified to increase them a little more.
They cannot. The “FLIGHT” option for the spoilers is the same as the maximum in flight in real life. The E-Jets are just slippery…
E175 .
It’s just the simplest
777-200 or 787-9 so simple and so smooth.
