What’s the strangest/rarest aicraft you’ve spotted?

As the title suggests, I (and many others I assume) am curious to find out what’s the rarest, strangest or most ugly plane you have spotted.

I don’t take many pictures of aircraft (shame on me), but today I saw a firefighting aircraft filling up by landing on a lake in Italy. Here’s a picture:

So what’s the strangest plane you’ve spotted? Tell everyone about it below 👇

Probably the legendary Boeing 707. Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture of it.

I actually saw a FedEx 727 at JFK about a week ago. However, it was parked.

After doing some research, I think it belongs to the Aviation High School. I think they have their own hangar at JFK or something.

Idk what plane it was but its registration was 2-CUTE.
I couldn’t find a picture of it though. :(

I may be remembering wrong but while on tour at the airbus factory in Toulouse, France, I’m 90% sure there was a super guppy (and a Concorde MAYBE).

There’s a Concorde at Le Bourget, possibly my favourite aviation museum.

I remember sitting in the garden one morning, minding my own business having a coffee and having the Fairey Swordfish fly over

I assumed en route to Farnborough

Given we have a lot of Farnborough and Heathrow traffic it was quite surreal, and a welcome change!

Dornier 328 in the Jet version. One of my favorite aircraft and more common over here in Europe, I guess…
Good catch!

Saw this while on a vacation in Naples, Italy. It’s an Italian Canadair CL-415 flying overhead to fight fires on a mountain nearby.
