What’s the All-Around Best Flight You’ve Done?

There are topics out there about the best landing, or most scenic route you’ve done, but I want to know what the all around best (whatever that means for you) flight you’ve done, in Infinite Flight.

For me, I’d have to say it’s MSP-JAC-BZN, with the SCX 738. It was such a pretty routing, with a hyper realistic arrival/departure from KJAC, all thanks to resident Jackson Hole expert @United403 .

I think mine is Tokyo RJTT to San Francisco KSFO. It was my first long-haul and trans-pacific flight. Very nice scenery too!

Paris to Nice for sure, I just love the approach, day and night. I love the city too.

This doesn’t have to do with scenery or anything, just the pure thrill of hand flying: mine was Charlotte to Ronald Reagan. Completely hand flew the visual approach over the river which guided me beautifully to the runway. Conditions were perfect, it was right before sunset, and doing the majority of the approach without AP was such a thrill!

Honestly there is a few, it is really hard to choose but I think top 3 (in no particular order) for me have to be

  1. Seoul Incheon to Mexico City, the views along Alaska, Japan, Mexico and over the US are just stunning! This is performed on the AeroMexico B787-9 IRL.

  2. Hong Kong to Da Nang, that descent into Da Nang is beautiful, especially as sunset as you come in and loop pasts the mountains. This is performed on the VietJetAir A321 IRL.

  3. Tokyo Haneda to Aomori, again the views over Japan are nice and that Kai Tak like turn into Aomori is a must do! This is performed on the Japan Airlines B737-800 IRL.

With each successive post I read, I think, “yeah, that too!” This is a tough question: y’all had to mention Flagstaff, Phoenix, Singapore, Bali, Tokyo, SF, Mexico City, Paris, Seoul, Da Nang. Ok, I’ll just pick one. Flagstaff to Singapore. Just because it’s radical, personal, and shouldn’t be done irl. But it connects parts of the world I wanna connect. And I can do it in IF!

Inspired now to do Flagstaff to Da Nang.
