If I decide to listen to music, I usually go with something calming. It also helps in the event I’m doing something else while flying.
Honestly I choose to not listen to music at any point in my flight except cruise. And when I do, it’s mostly just personal favorites. Currently “untitled 06” by Kendrick Lamar has me in a chokehold rn.
It has never occurred to me to listen to music whilst on IF. It would distract me. However, if I was going to listen to music whilst on IF I’d probably listen to some Fleetwood Mac or Kim Wilde or other similar music 
I typically listen to either counting stars or another love, songs that are less intense when flying.
Ahem ahem I like some Electric Swing, Guitar and Western, Country, Traditional.

This is a great post, as someone who has schedule 6 ADHD music helps a lot for me personally to concentrate and calm me down, but this may be “cringe” to hear but I enjoy listening to ASMR on the AirPods while I’m flying, very soft, relaxing, calming and allows me to still hear for ATC instructions.
Likely anything metal. Slipknot, Metallica, Sepultura…that’s calming, but I want to make sure I can hear ATC calls.

To me when I play Infinite Flight, the music that I listen to would be African music. So during the takeoff phase when I reach 250 KTS, I put on rap music depending on where I am flying to. For example, if I were to fly from Dubai to Doha, I would put on Calibre 27, Gamezi Palace, Wara Gaspi, etc.. Now if I were to fly from St. Louis to Miami, I would put on Joash Byuki Mama, then flying to the Caribbean, then like Catherine Kusasira, Harriet Kisakye, etc.. Then flying to Naija, then Naija music. So I basically listen to African music when flying since i am Nigerian American
