What makes an airport enjoyable to fly into?

Hi everyone,

In your opinion, what makes an airport enjoyable to fly into? Is it the scenery, challenging approaches, ATC activity, traffic, or something else? I’d love to hear which airports you always enjoy visiting and why.

Mixture of these two. I always find unusual approach paths far more interesting than the bog standard straight-in ILS.

Scenery is a big one for me, but I also appreciate some unique element, like an unusual runway layout or something.

For me, High traffic and challanging approach

High traffic and long routes really is all I look for.

Imo scenery doesnt matter, aslong as there are multiple runways, preferably intersecting, to lengthen our taxi time!

Am I the only one who finds taxiing fun?

I love short runway operations. That plus a visual approach is quite nice. That’s why I love KMDW rwy 22L.

No I find it fun too

Really depends which plane, yk.

I enjoy flying to 3D airports with horrible weather.

Sentimental value - for example irl I fly to Singapore almost every Christmas, so flying to Changi in Infinite Flight allows myself to reminisce the Christmas/holiday period which is always a nice, nostalgic feeling
