One time on my last flight to Ecuador back in 2011, the flight was to take off at 12:00am EAT and we were delayed 4 hours due to storms at our destination. The plane finally arrived at 4am and we were delayed for another two hours before I blacked out. I literally ran around the airport sweating so hard beforehand and did that the whole night the. To make things pretty cool, the flight was 6 hours long operated by a tiny A319.

4 to 5 hour layover turned into an 8 hour layover at Dohaās old airport and no explanation was given by Qatar Airways.

Thunderstorms at Chicago delayed our flight on United to Munich, made us miss a connection on Lufty to Mumbai.
Spent 12 hrs at Muncih instead of 2.
When we called my uncle at Mumbai to pick us up at the new time, he didnāt answer nor did he read texts we sent, he went to the airport 7 hrs earlier at around 3am, then read texts, went home, and came back laterā¦ š¤·
So the bad experience with weather and delays at Chicago led to all thisā¦

A 50 minutes transfer time from an international flight onto anotherā¦ during peak Christmas timesā¦ security, even with staff priority, was dreadful.

I was stuck in Frontierās portion of KPHX when I decided to go 6 hours early before my flight to do some spotting. Let me tell you that Terminal is the most boring, uninteresting, empty, and lousy terminal of any airport Iāve ever been in. Lol

Hervey Bay Airport in Queensland. Unfriendly rude staff at check-in staff. You would think they would have a positive attitude with only having 1 Virgin flight to deal with per day

SA Express once swopped a Dash 8 for a CRJ 200. I volunteered staying behind for 3 hours before the next flight, worst it also got cancelled, so I ended up waiting for 5 hours. But, at least they gave me a complimentary return ticket.
Other than that, the ladies at check-in can be arrogant sometimes.

Bangkok Intāl: Was pulled out of X-Ray for a pair of blunt, childrenās scissors. Must of thought that I might stab someone with rounded scissors. Next thing I know, weāve missed our flight back home.

I was arrested for carrying a phone case that I brought that apparently looked like a gun. Fantastic 3 and a half hour delay, missed our flight, the next flight was cancelled. So fantastic.

I was at OPKC (Karachi Jinnah Intāl) and I was at baggage claim. I waited and waited and waited and my bag never showed up. So I asked a guy for help, and he told this other person. The other person comes to me and says āsorry sir, your bag was deemed a security risk, and you have to follow me to retrieve it.ā I was flipping out in my mind;how can my bag be a security risk?!?!
I got my bag and noticed it was a lot lighter and then I went to open it and found the lock was not there! So I opened it, and all that was left was my clothes, all in this mess. I was carrying my iPad, laptop and a few gifts for the people I was visiting. Those were all gone. So I asked the guy about it and he told me that āthose things were a safety risk so we have removed and confiscated themā.
So basically, airport staff stole from me. Iām never going back to OPKC no matter what now.
