Personally, I have experienced good and bad situations while being vectored by various approach controllers on TS1. Recently, a controller on TS1 at KSFO almost vectored me into an oncoming aircraft. So my question to the the members of the forum, is what is your experience with controllers on TS1?

Well, depends on the controllers and how they control your plane around his airport, but I usually end up very satisfied with the work they do in TS1, that’s why I thank many of them.

I find that it gets a little hairy at destinations such as KSFO or EGLL.

My biggest experience with controllers on TS, is that I couldn’t find them here on IFC, to give them any positive or constructive feedback.

If I do ATC on TS1, its normally at either KMIA, KJFK, and sometimes KMYR. My user is the same on the app as it is here. Which callsign do you regularly use?
Some have vectored me into a mountain. I have never really had good experiences with them

I usually only act as ATC at airports I’ve been to. That way I know the surrounding terrain, typical patterns used, etc. maybe that’s why I’m such a good TS1 controller… 😏
Not being a grade 3 yet, I can’t compare it to expert. But so far all ATC was professional with me and seemed quite experienced.
Yeah, when I didn’t play on expert I thought the ATC were fine. I’ve learned better since then.

There are some very good ones and than the bad ones. I feel really sorry for those that are good controllers because so many people just disobey every command . It’s nothing like the expert server where they are on their game and a line of order and procedure is in tact !
