What is your ATC journey?

I am in the process of becoming IFATC (approved for practical) and I am wondering, what is your story with IFATC/a timeline of your journey, and what do you love about it?

I had a very quick proces! I got into IFATC 8 days after applying. I failed my first practical but got a reduced cooldown. I love the IFATC community, you can ask anything and everything. Its also very fun to control! Hope you get on the team soon!

I got tired of training server so I applied, I got accepted then I did the written tests, I failed the written tests more than 3 times and had to wait for 3 months to take another, I then passed the written and then it was time for the practical.

But I didn’t do it yet since and I didn’t feel like I was ready and so I was training for it with my trainer and his team, then after like 2 or 3 months of training, I decided to do the practical test.

And I passed that first try.

Now I am IFATC
And it’s very much enjoyable I recommend 👍

This process for me took months and I watched so many IFATC training videos to help pass my tests etc, It was long but worth it

So you took the written test, passed on the 1st try, then had a cooldown of less than a week on practical, then passed? That’s impressive, good for you!

I woke up one day and decided to apply to IFATC. Passed the written on first attempt, went through training for about a month then passed the practical.

This video is ringing in my ears.

Same, haha.

I’ll go now!

  1. I applied March 17th
  2. I failed the Written test March 19th.
  3. I passed the Written test April 3rd.
  4. I started training April 5th.
  5. I finished training April 18th.
  6. I took my practical May 4th and passed.

That’s it for me, yay!

I used to think it was easy since I played ATC4Real which is more for APP/DEP. So I figured that it would be just as easy and somewhat complicated as Unmatched ATC.

Hit the training server when I had a chance and then told a friend I wanted to apply and he said APPLY. I applied, failed the first test and got into the training and then I am here now. I have been so busy and doing other things so I have not had a chance to control lately.
