What is y=mx + b?

You’ve probably seen this equation before but always wondered what this meant?

Well this is Slope Intercept Form, highlighting the slope ( m ) and Y-intercept ( b )

Slope ( m ) has been intercepted at 1,000ft ( b ) on our way into New York’s LaGuardia Airport! 🗽🍎

A function is a type of function, generally in the form of y=kx+b (k, b is a constant, k≠0), where x is the independent variable and y is the dependent variable. In particular, when b = 0, y = kx (k is constant, k ≠ 0), and y is called the proportional function of x

Learning new things every day! Never knew a function is actually a function

Probably means “linear function”
