What is VNAV Used for?

Is VNAV Important? And what its purpose? Should I use it or not.

Welcome to the community! It is used for automatic altitude change. Although you can only use it during descent, pilots in real life use it for climb aswell. You can use by setting an altitude on a waypoint that is on your map. This is useful in many different ways you use it as you wish. You can use it by pressing the VNAV button in the autopilot section in-flight. Happy flying!!

VNAV is like autopilot for descending. I consider it very important and you should probably use it.
