Could’ve been anything… test flight, aerial survey, pipeline survey, student practicing maneuvers.

lol, no one is practicing maneuvers over 3 states (or by flying in mostly straight lines), and I seriously hope there are no pipelines going in that pattern. Likely a test flight.

This is probably a Boeing test flight. They have an assembly site in South Carolina.

Y’all can use inference skills. Who has planes that fly out of Charlotte? Does anyone have test flights out of there? It’s almost as if it could be an AA plane fresh out of MRO doing a test flight . . .
Unless you have some other more plausible explanation, the simplest explanation is usually the right one.
