Just yesterday I saw someone cruising at around Mach 1.7 in an F-14, inverted, on training, going from KEDW to somewhere on in Mexico, at FL520

Idk why but that seems just so outrageous. Like maybe he didn’t realize he was on casual?

Someone using unicom on casual

Why is this unusual? Casual server is for people who want to mess around, don’t want any risk of violations or aren’t professional/experienced enough. It has nothing to do with flying IFR or VFR.

I think it is more of a joke

As I said here:

Flying with or without a flight plan on any server isn’t unusual.

cause in casual server set their destination and just go. (it is a joke just relax:) )

You know if you set your destination and put on the NAV that it’s still considered a FPL?

Technically no

What do you mean, creating a FPL is literally just setting a course on so when you press NAV it takes you somewhere. It doesn’t matter if it’s one point or several hundred.
