Hello, I was wondering, what is the best way for long haul. Do you monitor it the whole time, do you leave it overnight and go to bed? Do it in the early morning??? If there is a effective and efficient way for long haul, please tell me!!!
I mean there’s not one that’s more efficient than the other really, but I usually do overnight ones. It’s not necessary to stand over your flight every moment. I usually climb to 10,000 feet, then like go eat breakfast, go about my day, and whatnot. Do some homework, go outside, watch some netflix. Come back an hour before landing, all is well.
Or do an overnighter, and well, sleep.
Yes, that is the best and easiest way to do it.
It really depends on your schedule, the length of the flight, etc. Overnight is a good idea. Early morning, yeah, good idea. If you’re going out - if you can at the moment 😂 -, do a flight. Takeoff, climb to cruise, go away and do whatever, come back and descend to landing. No need to monitor it really. However, it is a good idea to do so every now and again if you can. If you are going to be in the same room as your device, but not necessarily with it, keep the sound on. That way, you can hear it if the aircraft overspends in a tailwind ot something. But, no, you’ll be fine to leave it for hours on silent.
Pack enough fuel, and don’t forget reserve fuel! Have a nice flight and have fun up there!
The easiest way to do a long haul is probably right before you fall asleep, set the ap how you want it, and plug your phone in on the lowest brightness setting. When you wake up, it will hopefully be near the top of your decent!
