In Shannon Airport, Ireland, the Antonov AN-225 MRIYA landed in the 21st of May, 2013. That was the second time this aircraft landed here at my home airport. That being said, I think Shannon can handle all types of aircrafts since the early ages. It currently operates Kallita 747’s from Istanbul and Maastricht each week. It also gives great advantages for the An-MRIYA’s brother aircraft, the Antonov An-124. Last time these came from the Mediterranean countries.
But it’s time for your answer : What is the Largest aircraft your home airport can handle? I am interested to see your answers on airports all around the world. 🙂

Not daily. Not weekly. Perhaps monthly or yearly. LaGuardia rarely sees any 757s or 767s, and when they do, it’s a sight. Delta and Air Canada rarely fly a 767 there.
Toronto has been visited by the AN-225 so I guess that, Toronto Billy Bishop could maybe be operated by like maybe a citation mustang, the largest I’ve seen is a DHC-7.
MSP can handle the 225 which they had a spot for when it came, but somehow they don’t have a parking spot for the A380. There was a BA medical diversion here with the A380 once and the had to park it on runway 4-22.
I’m guessing KATL can hold the AN225, but the largest TAPA can hold is the AN124 (came twice), the Boeing 747-8F (came once) and the A380 (capable of being serviced).
