What is the difference between them?

Good morning or good evening to everyone .
What is the difference between each of the (altitude MSL) and (altitude AGL) ??

MSL is altitude above sea level, AGL is altitude above the ground below you.


Msl is the altitude abose sea level and agl is the altitude above the ground

@Pilot …Max Sez… Mean Sea Level (MSL) and Above Ground Level (AGL) are common Cartografic Terms. Definitition and most other terms and abbreviations commonly found in aviation are at your finger tips via a Web Search. I suggest searching “Wikipedia” for a complete understanding of the terms and how they apply to flight and aircraft instrumentation. Another good source is the “Pilots Handook” available free at faa.gov.
