Sorry, I searched a bit but could not find the answer. I don’t see any difference between the way the two behave except they allow toggling between two different camera angles in a sphere around the plane.
The locked view follows the plane’s direction. So if you turn left, the view will also turn left. As opposed to the normal view where if you turn, you will see just the plane turn, but the view remain the same. Sorry if that was complicated and hard to follow, maybe someone else can explain it better?

OK. I understand the distinction. I’m still not seeing the cameras behave that way, though on my Android and with whatever plane I was flying. No worries, just curious.
