I was wondering what is the best plane finder app for iPad? I’m willing to spend up to $5 on it so I want a decent one.
The full version of Flightradar24. One of the best purchases I’ve made.
Thanks. Will consider it!
It’s really great. Might go a few dollars over, but still awesome.
FlightAware and I think it’s $2.99 to remove ads forever, it’s my favorite one.
Thanks for the replies!
The flightradar app is like 3.99 and comes with no ads and great in app purchases
I have to agree with @bensonb. Flightradar24 is an awesome app. Definitely get the paid version; although, they have a free version if you want to try it out first.
For the people who recommend Flightradar24, I would have to say that I agree! It’s a really great flight tracking app for mobile :)
Thank you everyone! Going to check out both of the ones you guys suggested. Also, LiveATC.net is a great website for listening to ATC at airports. It awesome!
Definitely get flight radar 24. FlightAware doesn’t have the best tracking for VFR aircraft (doesn’t support ADS-B equipped a/c very well) yet FR24 is exceptional in that. One of the primary reasons I use it is because of its capabilities of tracking nearly any aircraft that isn’t squawking 1200.
Planes Live is a good one. You can easily track any aircraft, observe the departure and arrival times, view the FPL and more!
I enjoy using flight radar 24 for when I see planes passing over my house, but I’ve found it doesn’t work too well during landing/takeoff spotting at airports
You can’t even describe how good it is, such an amazing app, never using anything else
OK. If you lose your plane and need an app to find it you really need to cut back on your drinking.
Flightradar 24…works like a charm
Flightradar 24, i made many in-app purchases (something i never do). Best app ever for devices. Think you got your answer :P
Better then Infinite Flight ? ;)
