What app do you guys usually make flight plans?
I’d personally recommend fpltoif.com. Using that website, you can pull a flight plan from either FlightAware, or SimBrief. It also gives you fuel recommendations, estimated flight time, and estimated V speeds.
and for advance flights if you want every detail
I use Simbrief.com
I also forgot to mention that I’m quite certain there’s a way you can make your own flight plan in simbrief, export it to fpltoif, and it’ll automatically adjust your flight plan to make it very easy to copy and paste into infinite flight
hmm I should try that :)
So FPLtoIf is better than flight plan database?
Depends, it’s all your preference.
FPLtoIF is just dedicated to IF.
In my opinion, If you have a good sense of fuel volume and range, and know the weather conditions on the route, you can choose flight plan database. But If you like to leave most of the work to automated calculations, you can choose FPLtoIf. It’s up to you~
Thank you all, mods you can close this now
Simbrief and navigraph.
I just use Simbrief and copy paste the flight plan (and at active airports I add the required SID and STAR)
