Maybe 10ish years ago I flew on a Virgin America A320, once a United 747-400, a Lufthansa A380-800, and finally I flew on an Alaska anniversary 737-800

@Paul_Christie, welcome to the community! DC-6, I’m envious.

That’s pretty dramatic actually. The shadow of the prop on the biplane struts, kids on board, trees flying past. Around the circuit and gently down. That’s flight!

Love the Huey, awesome picture!

Special to me, 9V-NCJ. My friend is a cabin crew and I picked the exact same flight just to see him onboard. Got the front 3 rows completely to myself, meals and drinks included. I joked with the rest of the crew that while others got a friend who came to fetch them in Mercedes and BMWs, my friend brought a multi-million dollar plane to come bring me home.

El al 777-200lr they only have 4 of them and now only operate them on short routes

E190. Within the next few years, at least for North America, it will become extremely rare. I’ve flown it a lot actually, can’t believe it’s a plane of the past now kinda…

Will always have fond memories of flying the Allegiant Mad Dogs out of the tiny Youngstown airport for summer vacation trips.

I flew on Delta’s B752 from CDG-PHL in 2014. This route is no longer operated by Delta. Also a special thing was that this long-haul route was operated by B752/753. In 2015, i flew with Austrian B772ER on VIE-YYZ. This route was replaced by Air Canada in 2019, so Austrian doesn’t fly this route ever since. After the flight from Vienna, i flew YYZ-PHL with Sky Regional Airlines E175LR. Sky Regional Airlines was a subsidiary of Air Canada Express which leased some of their fleet to them. In 2021, they have merged.

Oh I almost forgot

I was on Concorde G-BOAD before it was closed and repainted, well before Covid. Yes it was already at the intrepid, but it was in the same state as it was when it flew. Does it count?

Probably Thai Airway’s B747 or their B777-300 (non ER) version.

I flew on A6-EOK last year in December and it was painted in the new EK livery. I’ve also flown on the Emirates EXPO 2020 Sustainability livery in 2019. I think that was A6-EOJ.

This year I flew on G-GDFF in April which is a B737-800 with no winglets on it so it looks like an older B737 version.
