What is Failure to maintain separation?

This FNF, I was flying out of EGLC. I followed all ATC instructions, but right after I took off, the Tower reported me with the reason “Failure to Maintain Separation”. I still have no idea what does this mean and I invite someone to explain this to me. Thanks

Faliure to maintain separation means you got too close to the aircraft in front or behind you.

Hello, this means that you were too close to another aircraft.

If you give us the name of the controller which can be found in your logbook, then we can notify him to PM you to discuss the ghost further as only the controller knows the proper reason why you were ghosted

To answer the question: Minimum separation is 3nm or 1000ft. If one of these isn‘t given, two aircraft are interfering.
