What is considered a landing?

I don’t think this is a duplicate.
I would like to know what the game considers a landing.
Is it just touching down anywhere? At an airport? With flaps and spoilers? Does every wheel have to touch? Etc…

A landing is every time you complete a full flight and you land the plane without crashing you doing need flaps or spoilers although it’s preferred once you get the plane landed it’s a landing 😉

Can a full flight be any length?

In my experience it’s about 100 feet.

No length, any flight even if you just do patterns at an Airport it counts as a landing

No sir, you do not need to completely stop. It does have to be on a runway I think.

A landing is when you are about 5-8 seconds on a runway.

To summarize, i have to be on a runway for 5-8 secs with gear, flaps and spoilers after an 100-foot flight?

Can I ask how did you land without gear?

Anyways, I always make sure I slow down and spend a reasonable time on the runway during my touch and goes so I know I get credited for the landing.

I took a KLM 747-400 at LAX and didn’t put the gear down.
It was a mistake, i forgot to put them down and had a LOT* of luck.
(on casual)

Sorry for being persistent, but if i make a short landing with a slow plane, and i take less 5 seconds to stop, is it considered a landing?

If you do a quick touch and go at an airport you will be counted XP for that landing ( XP varies on how landing was ) but if you land and keep bouncing it dosen’t count as a landing.
