I sometimes see that beside people’s username , it is written “regular” . But what does that mean exactly?
That is TL3, so in a similar way that I am TL2, you will see I have the bronze award saying “Member”. If that becomes silver that means I have TL3 and I have the ability to change it to say Regular under my name. TL3 is a trust level that is not automatically gained. This is given manually by mods.
I’m not sure but I heard that if you are frequently active in the IFC you will get “reguler” next to your name.
Please read the post above @Infinite_flight_HD
You don’t become a Regular automatically.
There is a selection process in place.
Well now I know it.
you have to have insane time commitments to be a regular so i wouldnt recommend it
No you don’t. Just don’t say stupid things on the forum and be helpful
This is true way back in the past. Back then, users who are frequently active in the IFC were given the Regular rank automatically after a certain amount of contributions and activity. I was a highly active user in the past (I reached my peak here from 2016 to 2017) where I was granted the Regular rank by the system, and when you’re not too active anymore, you lose the Regular status and go back to TL2.
Now, it is no longer possible to automatically be given the Regular title by the system after a certain amount of activity and contributions, as the moderators will now manually give that title to you.
i remember having to spend a ton of time on here to be a regular but that may have been before it was manual promotion
