It states that on 100 percent fuel, the A332 can fly for 28 hours and the A339 for 31 hours.
Now it’s time to fly the A339 instead of the A350.
Yep. For some strange reason, the A330s can fly much further than their irl counterparts.
This is also true for a few other aircraft, like the 737 Max being able to just stop burning fuel at a specific altitude the irl counterpart could never reach.
I know that fact, too. However It just says in the fuel settings menu that 32 hours and 30 minutes of flight are possible.
That’s not correct though - as that’s seemingly calculated based on when the A330 fuel burn was bugged to be too low, which has now been corrected back to “close” to normal.
Always take the fuel estimation in the weight menu with a big grain of salt. Flight planners like Simbrief will always be more accurate.
