What Graphics settings do you use?

Hi IFC!
I’m Just wondering what graphics settings you use and what device, I’m experiencing lag at the moment on my iPhone XS, using all medium graphics. Is this too high for my device? I also us anti-aliasing

Hey there!

The iPhone XS is 6.5 years old now (released late-2018) and on the lower end of the recommended amount of RAM - so medium graphics are probably a bit too high.

Try setting everything to Low, make sure FPS is on 30fps and turn Anti-Aliasing off, having it on will not be helping your performance, given it places a considerable amount of extra load on the phone’s GPU.

Also restarting your device before every flight can help as well.

Thanks for this! The lag usually happens on ground, and for the aircraft which are reworked, the A350 for example doesn’t encounter any lag, even at Hub Airports for the IFATC schedule. It was all good on high graphics until the max came out :joy:

And also, would the quality look quite poor with all settings down to low? And would it affect my flights. Also I’m planning on making an upgrade, I am just unsure when I should do that.

Try turning this off. I use highest graphics on my S20 (anti-aliasing off), and don’t encounter any big problems.

I have an IPhone 8 (Mom’s old phone) and it crashes alot at high so I set everything to medium

I have mine set to the max on an iPhone 14

And do you still use anti-aliasing?
