So basically if you are a pilot in their virtual group/virtual organisation/virtual airline you can choose it to be displayed on your profile.
For example, I am a pilot and staff of hainan airlines virtual, so I can choose HNA for virtual airline.

Thank you.

If you want you can also join HNA virtual, we have many routes throughout all of Asia with a very active community!
We also codeshare with many airlines, and new ones are added once in a while!

(We also codeshare with Air India Virtual)

shameless advetisement lol

Or you can join my nameless VA with no members, a non existent fleet, no branding or logo in sight, routes that simply cease to exist, invisible codeshares, a database that just never came to life, but a very welcoming owner! (subjective)
The choice is yours…🤞👍

@JurassicWorld4Ever You join the VA. Normally, there’s an entrance test and depending on the VA, there may be a secondary evaluation within the VA before you start flying with said VA. This is normally for the VA staff members to check and make sure that your flying is on par with the VA’s standards. When you get accepted, you can start flying the VA callsign and identification. Different VAs have different ways of working. Most VAs will have events to bring their pilots together. Pilots can also organise group flights with others within the VA, sometimes you get lucky and one of the staff members join you!

In most cases, you rank up by filing PIREPs (Pilot Report). These are normally done after your flight so that you file your actual flight time and not the predicted flight hour. In most VAs, as you rank up, you get more and more freedom. Some VAs have a no rank restriction policy, so it’s really up to you. You also get to fly the VA’s codeshare routes with other VAs.

Now, to all those CEOs advertising for your own VA. It is against IFVARB rules to publicly advertise for your VA using your personal accounts. VA advertising should only be done through your VA’s account and only via your VA thread or through your VA’s social media, if there is.

Got it, wasn’t aware of this fully, thought IFC was allowed but no other platform from their personal accounts. I will retract my message!
