When i click on this thing on the HUD view this comes up. What is it

It is for whatever runway you want to land on. For example click ILS 25R KLAX and you will land on 25R at KLAX

Simplt put the ILS selection box

It is to lock the ILS glidescope/localizer onto one runway so it doesn’t keep switching.

That, and the preset for the auto land function.
