What do you think will be the next airline to go bankrupt?

A lot of airlines are going bankrupt, like WOW air etc…

What do you think the next airline going bankrupt.

I think the next one is AA, because the stocks are going low every year.

AA won’t go. It will be another airline in Europe or Asia. AA is to big. They are considered one of the big 3. JetBlue could go down once they start service overseas. The next could be a smaller airline in Europe. We have seen Monarch, Air Berlin, and Primera Air go down. More challenges are now standing in front of the companies. So far, Monarch, Air Berlin, and Primera have gone bankrupt. “In the next twelve months, it is likely that at least four medium-sized European airlines will go bankrupt, analysts claim.” a Quote from https://airlinerwatch.com/more-airlines-might-go-bankrupt-in-europe-in-the-next-twelve-months/ . This article goes into saying that there could be more European carriers going down.

Allegiant AIrlines, they aren’t safe, they have shortages of passengers because of that reason

Etihad if they weren’t propped up by Abu Dhabi. They’ve invested in failing airlines and the competition in the middle east is tough. The incredible growth by Turkish airlines isn’t helping either.

Air India got some problems too at the moment 😬

I think Air India is funded by the government therefore they probably will get helped by the Indian Goveremt. If they do go down they will leave India open for airlines to begin.

I feel like it will be an Asian airline, like a low cost carrier, but right now I think Norwegian and Air India are on the verge of being Bankrupt. I feel like if Norwegian came to the low cost party earlier with EasyJet and Ryanair, they would be dominating the low cost carrier, but with 737MAX problems, etc., they are very likely to go bankrupt. And Air India is also being very competitive with Indian low cost carriers, like Indigo, etc.

Flown on this airline. They aren’t that bad, I had an enjoyable 2 hour flight. Staff were kind, Aircraft was an perfect condition, and we only landed 20 minutes late. I think people (especially avgeeks) have put an extremely poor representation on Allegiant, and unfortunately it is near impossible to recover from that point on.

There is a 0.0000…01% chance that’s going to happen, they are by several metrics the largest airline in the world, have a new, good fleet, have a dedicated passenger base, and have several big cities almost locked down. They are as safe as anyone, I promise

No, not really, the indian government doesn’t really want to give them more money, and they have some big loans they arnt playing. They’re in touble for sure…

India is not the best country to live in basically

And why are you saying that? More or less to my understanding there’s alot of growth projected in that market, but these two airlines jumped the gun. I wouldn’t judge a country based on what airlines are failing, or succeeding

Well, the goverment itself

What about is? It sure isn’t like the US, but neither is the country, that’s there way of life. It certainly doesn’t have the same wealth as some western countries, but they are projected to see massive growth, and have so far been taking advantage of it.

@Airbus_Driver @KPIT let’s stick to the topic and not get political :)

Anyway, my take on Airlines going bankrupt: Norwegian May go down becuase of the 73M and RR Trent engine issues on the 787.
