What do i do when im on the ground preparing for flight

Sometimes i see this people at gates forever and i wonder what takes them so long

Usually i do this

Load the flight plan from simbrief make sure i have the right fuel or passengers and cargo

But then i see other people that are their for ages i dont if im missing something because i want to be as realistic as possible

I “simulate” boarding and loading time so if I’m flying one of the jumbos, I can be at the gate for around 45-60 minutes.

I spend a lot of time at my gate going through preflight walkarounds, checklists, and departure briefings.

Do you use navigraph or chart fox

i spend a lot of time at the gate the same reason @BennyBoy_Alpha said

Do you use if checklist for the checklists

No, I search the web and find the most realistic and best ones for free.

I use Navigraph since I fly in Infinite Flight most days.

ChartFox is just fine for a good number of situations - if you are thinking about trying out Navigraph - maybe try just a month of the subscription and see how you like it.
