Evan lives in Nova Scotia, Canada per his profile, so yes.
And then there’s black Friday shopping hype related to US Thanksgiving which spread to Canada (related to the US dates) and then to Australia when Amazon started up in Australia only in much more recent years.
So, no Thanksgiving in Australia but black Friday chaos in the malls and stores coinciding with the US.
