What are the IF Olympics?

So I have don’t really understand what the IF Olympics are… Can someone explain it to me?
Questions : is it a landing competition?
What do you get if you win?

There are a bunch of events, I don’t know specifically, maybe slowest landing, fastest speed, etc. There are also teams you can join, like America or Australia (Go Australia!) Last year the devs made a server specially for this, so I think it’ll be pretty fun :) This may not be very accurate since I’ve just taken what I’ve seen and put it into one post.
