What are the companies for aircraft?
What do you mean by Companies? Manufacturer, Operator? Owner?
That is a Cessna 172. As for operator that is a private owner. I don’t have any owner info that I can find.
It’s taking every fiber in my body to not be snarky about this.
But come on now…
One possible answer:
“It was founded in 1927 by Clyde Cessna and Victor Roos and was purchased by General Dynamics in 1985, then by Textron, Inc. in 1992. In March 2014, when Textron purchased the Beechcraft and Hawker Aircraft corporations, Cessna ceased operations as a subsidiary company, and joined the others as one of the three distinct brands produced by Textron Aviation.”
Corporate governance and allocating pools of capital sufficient to sustain this amazing thing we call aviation, in all its utilitarian (and in no way to diminish the aesthetic) aspects, is as amazing as the physics of flight itself!
