What are mulitpliers for VAs?

I just joined one and are getting familiar with it. I see multipliers assigned to
different events or routes. So the multipliers are applied to flight hours as a bonus?
For example, 10 hr flight can be logged in as 17 hours with 1.7x multiplier?

Yeah it’s literally what it is. Better to ask the VA in specific to not get things messed up though. Just in case

Well, multipliers are a bonus to rank up faster in a VA. Mostly you come in a new VA as Cadet and are restricted in aircraft types and/or flight time you are allowed. So for example you are only allowed to fly up to 5h and are not allowed to fly the big birds like A380.
But you can fly any route in the database of your VA that suits your rank. Most VAs offer Routes of the week (ROTW) or something equivalent or, as you said, events. There you can use multipliers for your flight time which make you rank up much faster so you unlock more planes and routes you are allowed to fly. :slightly_smiling_face:

yes that is correct, but keep in mind that the hours multiplied is your flight hours in your VA not in your Infinite Flight stats.

VA’s offer multipliers usually as an incentive you take part in VA events/ tasks like ‘route of the week’ or a community event etc.

Like the other replies mentioned, these will only apply to your hours recorded within their crew centre & not on IF itself.

Also, just be sure to use the multipliers on the correct flights only, otherwise they will reject the PiRep. Though this is information & discussion you can have within your VA
