i just got IF assistance and one callout is “minimums”
what does this mean?
that means make a decision to land or go around
it means the minimum altitude to which an approach may be flown with acquiring visual contact with the runway environment.

Minimums is a altitude/height, which varies for every approach. At this height you have to be visible with the runway doubelnd to land on.
This height can be very low on precision approaches (e.g. ILS) and rather high (e.g. 2000 feet AGL) on non-precision approaches and everything in between depending on airport height, andantes other factors.

so if i don’t see the runway at a certain minimum i have to abort
If you do a quick search on the internet, I believe you would be able to get a detailed answer.
