Hey everybody i am just curious what are grades in the game and how do they work? What is 1st 2nd 3rd 5th grade? And how do i earn them? I am new btw :)

Hello! Grades are kind of like experience levels. At grade 1, you are limited to the casual multiplayer server. At grade 2 you gain access to the training server, which has ATC, and is a bit more professional. At grade 3 you get the expert server, which is strictly professional and enforced by atc who are trained and part of a team called IFATC. That team is trained and tested thoroughly. (I know cause I failed the written test twice 💀💀)
Grade 4 and 5 are given to active pilots who fly often.

To add on, there’s always requirements that you must meet in order to upgrade your ranks. You can check it on your stats to see which grade is up next :)

Grade 1: Only has access to the casual server
Grade 2: Now has access to the training server and Training ATC
Grade 3: Now has access to the expert server, is able to apply for IFATC & IFAET (Has access to everything)
Grade 4: Gets no more permissions but shows that the player is committed and flys fairly often
Grade 5 Highly experienced pilot, flys very often, has no violations and is a top of the line player
Grades are a way to tell experience pilots apart and act like Levels were you get more access to
Certain things. Each grade requires a certain amount of Landings, XP, Hours & min Violations.
You can earn a higher grade by playing more often, having more hours and minimizing the violations you get.
As a grade 5 pilot it took me about a year to get and I have to farm a lot of landings to keep it. Violations are not a issue for me, I haven’t received one in a entire year.

Hey, as a fresh Grade 3 pilot, I can say it took me about 3-4 weeks from downloading the game to reaching Grade 3. At the end when I needed hours and XP, I was doing overnight long-haul flights. I also needed to “farm” some landings, but I did in the way it actually taught me something - remote small airport with no traffic, no ILS, windy conditions and visual approaches with touch & goes. I was flying everything from C172 to 747s to get a feel for how each aircraft handles.
