We just were hit by a 7.0 quake and it’s still going lol
After our quake The State of Alaska did not allow aircraft to land, they just recently reopened our airspace but the Anchorage terminal is not accessible at this time due to road damage.
So what does an airport look like during an earthquake? This video explains it! Pretty sweet some one captured it!
Wonder how all the cargo flights are going to be affected by this. There are constantly DHL 747s to and from PANC to KCVG. Interesting to see how this plays out in the height of cargo season. Of course, stay safe!
True true. Glad everyone’s okay according to reports but this could affect a lot of cargo schedules like Cbro said. Longer flights from HKG MIA and much more may be slightly delayed.
I was 122 miles away as the crow flies in homer AK and we evacuated the airport locked it up and got to high ground tsunami was projected to hit at 1145 am but was cancelled around 1030
I’m always late on news, I just found out about this lol
Thoughts and prayers go out to people affected by this. @anon93248082 those guys on that video sound like they were having a blast 😂
